Mr. Krogol is proud to begin teaching at Shoal River Middle School as the Assistant Band Director. Mr. Krogol grew up in the Panhandle and was a member of the Blue Thunder Band at Arnold high school in Panama City Beach, Florida. After high school, he attended Gulf Coast State College (GCSC) and earned his Associate of Arts Degree with a focus on music. After graduating GCSC, he transferred to Florida State University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Education in May 2024. Mr. Krogol is a primary trombone player and, during his time at Florida State, he was a member of the University Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Swing Machine and Marching Chiefs. For his student teaching internship he studied at Fort Walton Beach high school with Derek Fields and Alissa Kanocz as his mentors. Mr. Krogol is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the National Association for Music Education, Florida Music Educators Association, and Florida Bandmasters Association.
